Werner! Nice to hear from you. I've looked at your pages before and am glad to be brought back for another visit to your lovely drawings - very nice. Speaking of Nice, I've spent some time there and you will see, eventually, on my painting blog, the paintings I made while staying in Nice and traveling up and down the Cote D'Azur (in my Sunday posts). The watercolor you commented on was by my mother in the late 40's - early 50's. To go to my watercolor page see Landscape into Art. I'm looking forward to more of your drawings!

I meant, my mother painted those two watercolors in the early 60's! Anyway, I think that I'll link to your site from my painting page - my drawing students should see your work! Cheers.

Wonderful drawings of a performing artist "in the moment". When I try to do the same, I always get caught up in the power of the music and my artwork suffers for it.

Bravo for being able to enjoy the performance and create such powerful drawings.

Thanks Kay - indeed it wasn't easy, and out of three or four drawings I started during the show, this was the only one with something recognizable on it at all!
