This looks like an apocalyptic portrait! I like the mysteriousness of the inky wash. I worked at the MIT Media Lab for a couple of years....

Your ink wash reminds me of an aquatint etching. Have you ever considered trying drypoint, acid etch, or intaglio prints? I took printmaking while at the university. I'm not trying to lay a trip on you. I love the variety you use in this piece.

Thanks a lot for your comment.
I made a few prints with Wolfgang Schmitz at the Academy of the Arts (a long time ago).
Indeed today I often think that the one or the other of my drawings would make nice subjects for etching and I'd like to make some again one day, but currently I have no time at all, I'm already glad about every minute that I can get for a drawing (hence the title of my blog) ;)
