Paysage no. 27


Ah, so you're still alive? some of you may wonder.
Yes I am. Here is a drawing mainly done with a "Zulu" pencil, but you can find traces of graphite and a red colour pencil in it too.
It was a very hot and dry day (the whole sun was on fire...) Ah yes, and I'm sure some of you have recognized it: I was listening to Throbbing Gristle's "Part Two" while I was drawing.
(No no, there's no sound embedded in this post - why are you asking?)

Voici un autre paysage, en plein A3, un format relativement grand pour moi, et surtout dessiné avec un crayon "Zulu". Il faisait très chaud, et, comme la plupart d'entre vous l'ont certainement reconnu, j'ai écouté "Part Two" de Throbbing Gristle pendant que je dessinais.
(Mais non, il n'y a pas de son dans ce billet - pourquoi la question?)


Landschaft Nummer 27. Heiss war es, die ganze Sonne brannte nur so dass es knisterte, und in meinem iPod lief "Part Two" von Throbbing Gristle.

Throbbing Gristle? Wow! I haven't heard reference to them in ... 20 years? Hey, but now I found the See This Sound exhibit. Will have to get back to that. Glad you're still alive.
